A regrettable incident occurred a few days ago at the FBC II web pages. Although it happened briefly and was promptly fixed, we would want to believe that it may have caused some people some inconvenience and created some erroneous impression. So we are using this opportunity to tender a formal apology and most importantly to correct and clarify whatever wrong message and impressions it may have created.
The incident am referring to affected only voters who may have tried to cast their vote within that period in time. On attempting to vote, voters were instead shown a page which informed them that the contest was officially over. We are hereby retracting that false impression with a sincere apology. It was due to some programming glitch which has now been fixed.
We are hereby categorically informing you that the FBC II is NOT OVER YET. It is still very much on. The contest has just gone half way. There is still a full one month to go. The contest will officially come to it end by the midnight of 7th September, 2009, after which all voting will end and the contestants ranking will be frozen at that exact moment. So please, you should continue participating and casting your precious votes.
We once again apologize for all the inconveniences and distress this may have caused you. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Thank you and God Bless.
