Well, there you are. The clean up exercise we promised is over. As we lean back to admire our work, the result looks satisfactory, at least to us. We hope you appreciate what we have achieved: Bringing sanity back to the contest. All or almost all fraudulent votes has been weeded out and the system is now as strong as ever.

Just as promised in my last post, we had dug deeply into the guts of the voting mechanism and had purged it of undeserving votes as thoroughly as humanly possible, without fear or favor.  We had to take such a strong measure because we just had to make it clear to everyone that we are running a blogging contest and not a scamming contest, that we are seeking to reward the best bloggers and not the best scammers.
